In 2011, Popi opened Evdokia, a traditional food shop in Patras. From the very beginning, she was passionate about discovering quality products and getting to know the people behind them, always placing great importance on carefully selected ingredients.
Over the years, she built lasting relationships with small producers from across Greece, taking the time to understand not only their products but also how they are made. These personal connections and her thoughtful approach to choosing products became central to Evdokia’s philosophy.
Her warmth and genuine connection with customers remain an essential part of the shop’s character today.
Today, Thodoris, Popi’s son, is also part of the family business at Pantopoleio Evdokia.
Having studied Nutrition and Dietetics, he brings his own knowledge of food, nutrition and ingredients to the everyday life of the shop. This background guides him not only in selecting products, but also in his conversations with customers. By listening to their needs and preferences, he helps them discover products that are just right for what they are looking for.
With respect for everything that previous generations have built, Thodoris continues to take Evdokia forward, preserving the shop’s personal touch and the close relationships with both the people who produce the food and those who enjoy it.
